Looking for Therapy in Provo?

If you're searching for a therapist in Provo, you're in the right place. Olive View Therapy is a mental health practice located in central Provo, directly across from the Provo Recreation Center serving individuals, teens, couples, and families throughout Utah County.

Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or a difficult season of life, our therapists are here to help. We offer both in-person sessions at our Provo office and telehealth therapy for clients across Utah—so care fits your schedule and life.

What We Treat

•       Anxiety and stress
•       Depression and mood disorders
•       Suicidal ideation and self-harm
•       Relationship and marriage challenges
•       Teen and adolescent mental health
•       Family conflict and communication
•       Trauma and difficult life experiences
•       Borderline personality and emotional dysregulation
•       Identity, faith, and life transitions

Our Approach

We take a unique approach to therapy: a blend of science (evidence-based therapies that are proven to work), craft (skills, tools, wisdom, and sometimes lifehacks), and creativity (art, movement, writing, games, and critical thinking). All our clinicians are regularly trained, supervised, (and optionally observed) by expert therapists from across the United States and world. All our clinicians at baseline are competent providers of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method for couples, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) for teens and families. We also have several providers regularly providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) both evidence-based approaches to help people heal from trauma and PTSD.

Accessible Care for Provo and Utah County

We believe quality mental health care should be accessible. That's why we:

•       Accept most major insurance plans
•       Have wheelchair accessible entrances/exits and restrooms
•       Offer a sliding scale for those without insurance ($25-$100 per session for most folks)
•       Provide telehealth therapy for all Utah (and Wisconsin) residents
•       Welcome clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities

Our practice is both faith-affirming and queer-affirming or LGBTQ-affirming. We understand that Provo is a community with deep faith roots and we also know that many clients are navigating identity, belonging, and change. This struggle is one each therapist at Olive View Therapy is personally and professionally familiar with.
